Hi all,

Over the years, it has always bothered me that no Christmas Bird Count encompassed Lake Milton, Berlin Lake and West Branch (Portage and Mahoning Counties). With that said, I took the initiative and had a new circle accepted – the Tri-Reservoir count. My main goal was to not let it interfere with any of the other local CBCs so I set the date for January 1st. Some of you are probably aware that the Geauga CBC is usually held on the 1st, it has been moved to the 5th.

Let me know if you’re interested in helping, it would be great to start off the first year to a success! If you’re interested in a map of the circle, send me an email directly, not through the list. This is a great opportunity to start your 2013 year lists!
