Thousands of Bonaparte's Gulls continue to stage off of Edgewater/Lakewood/Wendy Park. Little Gull was not found today. Off of upper Edgewater, the west end of the park, all three species of scoters and a Red-necked Grebe were rafting just offshore and a first basic Thayer's Gull was with 500 mixed gull species on the main beach, including first basic Lesser Black-backed, Great Black-backs, Ring-bills and Herrings. At the extreme west end of Wendy Park/Whiskey Island harbor, a Red-necked Grebe and a single Surf Scoter joined some mergansers.
