Hello Birders,

Imagine my amazement when I looked out at my yard on the edge of the Rocky River valley to see eight Evening Grosbeaks! Per Jen Brumfield's suggestion, I have been applying black oil sunflower seeds liberally to my lawn and deck. The Evening Grosbeaks were on the deck during late morning today. After my neighbor came out into her yard to rake leaves, the birds disappeared. Have not seen them again today. New yard bird for me.

Birdifully,

Penny O'Connor
