I observed 1 winter plumage adult Harris's sparrow between 8:45am and 8:55am at Byers Woods Park in Ashland Co.
 
It was located in the panned out "bowl" area below and east of the viewing tower about 40yds along the weedy edge of a huge Autumn Olive thicket associating with a mixed flock of American tree sparrows and Dark-eyed juncos.
Tried to relocate the bird with 4 other birders from 10am-1pm with no success.
 
Also had 60+ Pine siskins feeding in nearby Alder trees,1 Red and 4 WW crossbill flyovers,3 Fox sparrows and both chickadee species also.
 
There are many Hawthorn trees loaded with berries located in the White pine plantation area also worth checking while there.
