I birded about 2 hours this morning along Valley Road and found 29 species.
Most notable were two Tundra Swans (north end of lake) and about 10 Common
Redpolls (behind the boat house). Also, one White-throated Sparrow at north
end of Valley Road near the farm (first heard then seen foraging at lake
edge).

Lots of ducks and geese and some hunters.

At one point I thought I was watching 5 Redhead Ducks at the far east shore.
I wondered why they were so close to shore then I saw the boat pulled up in
the bushes - decoys! Gotchya, Matt!
