The juvenile golden eagle was found this morning and evening at Kelley's Island. It was again in the large quarry west of the glacial grooves. It was not seen in the middle of the day.

Other birds of note were harlequin duck, Virginia rail, 2 killdeer, 3 purple sandpipers, 3 northern saw- whet owls, Cape May warbler, 3 fox sparrows, 4 rusty blackbirds, 100+ common redpolls, and 11 white-winged crossbills.

Also of interest were at least 89 hermit thrushes and 356 yellow-rumped warblers. The final totals should be interesting.
