An adult Iceland Gull was in with thousands of Ring-billeds and hundreds of Herrings at E 72nd St. in Cleveland this afternoon. Most of the gulls, including the Iceland, were feeding low and close to shore (10-30 ft. out) where the vast majority of gulls were hover-feeding and moving slowly west into the wind. Most of the gulls were too low and close to shore to be seen from the parking lot, but could be seen at close range when standing out in the cold and wind by the rocks.
