At 4.30 p.m. I noticed a flock of CANG circling the river twice, that included a smaller sized goose. After blowing up my pictures and asking the opinion of many birders I came to this conclusion -- BRANT. Many Canada Geese was coming down to the river just south of the bridge for the night, but I didn't see that the flock with Brant went down. Maybe did, or maybe headed west.
This is unfrozen part of Scioto river, and many CANG spend the night in this park. But they are very spooky, approach them very carefully if you decide to check this place tomorrow morning.
