My Avian Adventures miniterm class, accompanied by Ryan Steiner, spent the day exploring Mohican, Funk and Killbuck areas.  Birds of interest:
 
MOHICAN
Evening grosbeak  (24 in tree near the gorge overlook)
Brown creeper
Pine siskins
Red-breasted nuthatch
Bald eagle
Black vultures  (large kettle)
 
FUNK
Bald eagle  3
Rough-legged hawk 2
Northern harrier  2
Tundra swans  25?
Great blue heron  4
 
KILLBUCK
Sharp-shinned hawk
Rough-legged hawk
 
American kestrels seem to have a very healthy population this year. They were seen on most every road we traveled.
