Hi all
This morning, braving the early rain, we were along Kulhwein Rd. as the sky
began to clear. Several flocks of Canada Geese were moving overhead and
in the distance transfering from one spot to another. In one flock of 120
geese passing close by but not quite overhead were seven adult Greater
White-fronted Geese, thier heavily barred bellies and distinctly high
pitched yelping noted. Because of earlier weather my camera was water
tight inside the car......alas....

The Kuhlwien Rd wetland project looks like it will be excellent for
waterfowl....

Good birding
