Yesterday morning my wife and I observed the bald eagle pair nesting
along Pleasant Hill Road (near south shore of Pleasant Hill Lake,
Richland County) both returning to their nest with sticks and branches.

Heartening to see (with the coldest temps yet forecast this winter
imminent) these gorgeous birds already preparing for another nesting season.
