I had 10 minutes to spare while I'm prepping for a trip and I flew over to East 72nd. It is absolutely off the chain amazing. There are thousands upon thousands of gulls. I instantly had glaucous and Thayer's from about 100 feet away. You have got to get there. It is incredible. If you still need to see the white winged gulls now is the time to do it. The birds are close in. There are also thousands upon thousands sitting out on the ice. 3 Lesser Black-backs. If only I had an hour or two.
