A short time ago, about 5:35PM, Thursday afternoon, there was a Ross's Goose with about sixty Canada Geese, less than a mile downriver (west), of the town of Newport in southeastern Washington County. The gorgeous white morph adult was in the pasture field on the north side of SR7, upstream of "Backwater Baits', and diagonally and downstream of "The Jugg Drive-In". The location is adjacent to the Ohio River and upriver from the town of Marietta.

Bob Lane (presently at The Microtel in Marietta)
