Class A Campground
In the White Pines by the basketball courts

Screech owls didn't mind the swishy sounds
of about 60 pairs of little kid snowpants at the YMCA
owl walk tonight.
There were 3 flyovers and probably 6 individuals.
There were at least a few already roosting in the
pines and a few coming from the north rim.
They have been heavy in the campground all summer.
They are very vocal and are not easily bothered.
Even so, much care and respect was given to insure
their presence here is not jeopardized.
Don't forget to check here during the owl symposium!
