Good evening,

At lunch today (01/28/13) a friend and I saw 5 Black-Crowned Night Herons
perched by the Confluence on the southern bank. Also, the big treat was a
Peregrine falcon looking for a meal in the same location. The normal birds
(2 GBH, 24 Hooded Mergansers and several Ring-billed Gulls) were around.

Best Regards,
Mike H.
