I did some more local birding here in Mahoning Co. yesterday. In Poland Twp. were 24 wild turkeys, n. flicker, red-breasted nuthatch, Carolina wren, and Am. tree sparrow. At the Mahoning River in Struthers: ring-necked ducks, buffleheads, c. goldeneyes, 30 hooded mergansers, great blue heron, bald eagle, and belted kingfisher. Craig Holt, Lowellville
