I
 just received several additions from someone. With these implemented, we have hit
 80 species! New additions were Horned Grebe and Brown Creeper. This is a fantastic number, especially for being away from the lakefront. Here's
the revised list below - numbers for over 20 species updated.

Subject: Tri-Reservoir CBC results


Hi all,

The new Tri-Reservoir CBC covering Lake Milton, Berlin Lake, and West Branch (Trumbull, Mahoning, and Portage Counties) was held Tuesday, January 1st. We had 23 birders on 11 teams record 78 species. The highlight was undoubtedly the Red-throated Loon that Wes Hatch and Terri Martincic observed near the West Branch dam. 'Count Week' continues through tomorrow so hopefully we can pick up an additional species or two. Some misses include: Bufflehead, Northern Harrier, Rough-legged Hawk, Brown Creeper, Cedar Waxwing, Field Sparrow, Lapland Longspur, Snow Bunting, and Rusty Blackbird among others.
