I went to Sims Park in Euclid today from 2:15 to 2:50pm. I did not count every bird just a rough count. I saw:

12 Scoters

8 White-winged Scoters - straight out from pier by themselves
4 Surf Scoters northeast of pier in with many Common Goldeneye (you could see the the white on the back of one of their heads and slight orangish on some of their bills)

Scaup 1 female (near the White-winged)
Ruddy Duck 1
Common Goldeneye - I stopped counting at 100
Red-breasted Mergansers - small numbers

The last few weekends the Scoters were all together making ID more difficult in the overcast sky. I saw tree Black Scoter females last weekend but today I could only find the female Scaup.
