The grounds at West Park Cemetery were hopping with birds of all sorts
this morning.
Bill D., Joe from Brunswick and I had great point blank looks at 3 Red
Crossbills and a number of
Common Redpolls. In addition, a single White-wing Crossbill flew
overhead, and I saw another 7
in a sweetgum tree after they noisily flew over my car. We also saw a
Red-breasted Nuthatch, lots of
Robins, Juncos and American Goldfinches.

Happy New Years and
See you on the trails,

Chris Pierce
