Hi Matt, and please don’t take this personally, but all long-time posters know that in the Akron/Cleveland area, Turkey Vultures do not return until March 15 at Hinckley’s Buzzard Day. That can be verified by looking online under Hinckley Buzzard Day for a complete history and description. Yesterday you may have seen a Creagle - a hybrid American Crow and Bald Eagle - that looks very similar to a Buzzard (turkey vulture), but I assure you the Buzzards don’t come back until March 15….EXACTLY!
