A brief stop at East 55th marina turned up several hundred waterfowl and gulls consorting by the far outer breakwall. A scope is recommended. Two Long-tailed Ducks plus many Scaup, Mallards, American Black Ducks, Redhead, Canvasback, goldeneye, Bufflehead present. Few gulls, but a first year Glaucous was out on the ice. The hotwaters are very small. All birds out on the lake by the far breakwall. 

Many goldeneye plus Common Mergansers viewed from Perkin's Beach which is the bluff parking lot at the west entrance of Edgewater SP.
