Things were slow at Highbanks MetroPark this afternoon. I hiked the 2+ miles around the Dripping Rock Trail, and had most of the expected winter residents, including a pair of E.Bluebirds, 2-3 Yellow-rumped Warblers, and a Pileated Woodpecker. More unexpected was a Red-headed Woodpecker around the gypsy moth-kiiled patch south of the Nature Center. The feeders were very active, but mostly with chickadees, titmice, and Downies; the only unusual birds there were 2 Tree Sparrows.
