I would like to know if anyone has seen the yellowish/orange variant of a
House Finch recently -- or in general. I was helping Highbanks Metro Park
last Friday with their Project Feeder Watch Program and we had a variant
male come in 3 times. I had never seen one before. Tried to snap a photo on
my smart phone but haven't put it on the computer yet to see if I got
anything. Regardless, I'm just curious about how common or uncommon these are
in Ohio in general and in Central Ohio in specific.

thanks

Paul Graham
