I am beginning to notice how more vocal the birds are becoming. I have heard tufted titmouse doing their "peter, peter, peter", chickadee's singing their "pee wee" call, cardinal's singing and woodpecker's drumming. At CanalWay a Carolina Wren was heard singing.

We also have had large numbers of cardinals, tree sparrows, juncos, and white-throated sparrows at the feeder. The red-shouldered hawk is in the tree every day. We have also seen bald eagles fly over the center. The screech owl seems to have moved from the tree by the patio to a tree along the trail to the canal.
