A snowy yet balmy 40 degree day brought a brown creeper gleaning my blue 
spruce's bark as well as the seed below it. Common redpolls were on the 
finch feeder. Both nuthatches, titmice, blue jay, downy, hairy and 
redbellied woodpeckers worked the peanut feeder, while chickadees, house 
finches, cardinals and mourning doves went after the oil-seed sunflower. 
Have only seen one robin this month. Still looking for crossbills...
