So … I'm taking the scenic route (Rt. 84 vs. I-90) from Chardon to the Eastlake Power Plant to try out my new spotting scope on the wonderful assortment of gulls and waterfowl.
present there per reports (Thayers, Iceland, Glaucous, Lesser Blackbacked Gulls; canvasback, redheads, goldeneye, buffleheads, female black scoter … some 12 species of ducks, etc … oh, yeah, it was awesome).

And, I turn the corner from Rt. 306 onto Rt. 84 in Mentor and I see this turkey … looking every bit like a wild turkey, crouched on top of a dark green van in a driveway sunning itself.
Another form of wildlife gone uptown suburban?
