The SW winds brought Seneca County its first Turkey Vulture of the
year. Had a soaring bird yesterday near Lowell in the northern part
of the county. Not unprecedented but early for the county. Used to
be they first showed up around mid-March. The last 10 years or so,
its been late February to early March. Woodcocks should be back and
singing soon!!
