Besides the Snow Geese and Ross's that Jen reported ( 11 white geese in all/ 2 blue phase ) at Funk this AM there was a Short-eared Owl actively hunting that gave us stellar looks.  Even perched a couple of times for wonderful views of those yellow, mesmerizing eyes!  Nice looks at a couple of Harriers.  The number of Pintails was nothing to squawk about ( maybe 70-75 ).  Just to see their small numbers in flight and their maneuverability was awesome.  Better than the Blue Angels!  Went to Killbuck and had 2 Sandhill Cranes.  3-4 different duck species.  The HOME's and Ring-necks were in good light. Sure beats going to work.
