Common loon in breeding plumage easily viewed from east shore of Chippewa
lake on Sunday within binocular range. Also plenty of buffleheads, ring
necked ducks and lots more that required a scope to identify. Odd couple of
female scaup and male mallard hanging out together at Chippewa Inlet. Also
wood ducks and green winged teal. Flock of 14 hooded mergansers near
Cleve-Mass Rd bridge over Barberton reservoir.
