I visited Wright Marsh this morning (Mar 7) from 9-11am to check out the
waterfowl. Across the street at Shreve Fishpond, there were a dozen hooded
mergansers.

At Wright Marsh, on the large ponds, there were good numbers of waterfowl
including:

Mute swan - 2
Tundra swan - 5
Canada goose - 100s
Mallard - ~10
Pintail - ~150
Am. Widgeon - 10
Shoveler - 4
Wood duck - one pair
Redhead - ~200
Ring-neck - ~100
Lesser scaup - 8
