Hi,

Golden versus Bald is fairly easy if you look at shape and proportion
rather than plumage.  Look at head length versus tail length.  A Bald Eagle
has a large head with the length of the head being about 2/3 the length of
the tail.  A Golden is smaller headed with the length being about 1/3 the
length of the tail.

There is also a difference in wing shape.  A Bald has much straighter
trailing edges and with wings are held board flat while a Golden has
a noticeable curve to the trailing edge and the wings are held in a slight
dihedral.
