Thanks to all the Ohio birders who offered suggestions for birding in the
Corpus Christie / Rockport / Aransas NWR area.  I spent 1 ½ days there last
weekend and saw more than 65 species including the Whooping Cranes (right
where I was told they were near Goose Island SP), Caracara and the first
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher I have seen since 1982!  I did not find Roseate
Spoonbills but there was only so much time to look.
