I was at Killdeer Plains from 8:20 AM this morning until 11:50 AM, and here is what I saw:

In traditional owl pines the Northern Saw-whet Owl was heard, but I could not locate where it was.
At Sportsman's Center, a Horned Grebe in the pond and a male Northern Harrier.
South of the HQ, 10 Sandhill Cranes spotted flying overhead. (heading south)
Lots of Tundra Swans, Northern Pintails, and Mallards at Pond 27.
Some Trumpeter Swans, Ruddy Ducks, Wigeons, and Redheads at Harold Roe Wetlands.

I recorded a total of 52 species in 3 hours. Other species seen include: Eastern Towhee, Blue-winged Teals, Hooded Mergansers, Pectoral Sandpipers, Greater Yellowlegs, Gadwalls, 1 adult Bald Eagle (near HQ), Black-capped Chickadees, and a small flock of Lapland Longspurs observed in the field north of CR 71 at 108.
