We spent 1.5 hours at Pickerington Ponds Metropark (SE of Columbus) mid-day on Saturday.

The Harris Sparrow is still around - we saw it from the Wood Duck blind. (No, it was not swimming with the ducks, it was hanging out in the shrubs with the White-crowned and Tree Sparrows).

There was also a nice assortment of ducks: Wood Duck, Gadwall, American Wigeon, American Black Duck, Mallard, Blue-winged Teal, Northern Shoveler, Northern Pintail, Green-winged Tea, Redhead, Ring-necked Duck, Greater Scaup, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser, and Ruddy Duck.

It was warm and sunny, too!
