I dipped on the Red Crossbills yesterday around 4 p.m.
This morning it was  right timing for me. I observed a pair from 7.40 to 7.50 a.m. First, when I came, it was a female on the feeder. Male joined her shortly after. After the feeder they went to the neighbor's house picking up some snow from the gutter, and took off heading east. They were not vocal at all.
