Enjoying my morning coffee while five Evening Grosbeaks - 4 males and 1
female - enjoy an early morning meal at the feeders. This is a first for
our location. I remember long ago (back in the 80s) when I banded birds at
Mohican Outdoor School. It was always exciting when we would get a flock of
these beauties showing up in large numbers. It created some interesting
banding stories for sure.

Enjoy the snow day!
