This afternoon, the Darke County Birders, drove thru Darke County to find
ducks and other birds.

There were 6 people in 2 cars.

We saw the first two Darke County Tree Swallows of the season.

Two different wet areas had several pintail ducks.
One private wetland  Hollansburg-Tamipco Road had 17 redheads and 6
ringnecks
Stump's Pond south of Nashville(Darke CO.) had pintails, black duck,
bluewing teal, and C. geese.
Woods Road wetland between Ansonia and Rossburg had pintails, ringnecks,
mallards, and C. geese.

Great Blue Herons on nests
coots
Snow Goose
Creagles
redtail hawks
kestrels
Cooper's Hawk
C. wren
crows
starlings
C. chickadee
Robins
Rock pigeons
M. doves
bluebirds
redwing black birds
cardinals
titmouse
wb nuthatch
downy woodpecker
red-bellied woodpecker
wh. throated sparrow
song sparrows
grackles
house finches
house sparrows
