Greetings,

The now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t Snowy Owl first found in December along Township Road 162 two miles north and 3 miles west of the village of Paulding, was seen again today by my wife and me.  This is the second straight day that it has enjoyed the stubble field along the north side of Road 162, about 1/4 mile west and 600 feet north of the intersection of Road 162 with Road 97, which is about 1 mile south of the quarry.  

Will it show tomorrow?  Who can tell?  I guess that’s part of the mystery.

On a wetter note, we did find a White-winged Scoter enjoying the Pauding Reservoir along with some Redheads, Scaup and Red-breasted Mergansers.  Nice to see some open water again.
