I GOT SCREECH OWLS IN MY YARD!!!!! La Rue is just alive with Screechers tonight! I just got home from work at 1 AM, and I heard at least 4 different owls all around me it was amazing...So I ran inside and dropped everything, then went back outside with a flashlight. I caught a glimpse of movement swooping down then up into a tree in front of me. I trained my light on it for just a second to find a Red Morph Screech Owl looking right back at me...WOW!

I can hear them whinny right now through my closed double pained windows. I have to get up early in the morning, but can't go to sleep, way too cool!

Hopefully they are roosting near me, and I can get a shot or two for my records.

Time to try and get some sleep. :-D
