In the Dealware Co. part of Hoover Reservoir, Jason Simonis is watching a Lesser Black-backed Gull. He is at Oxbow. Drive out as far as possible, and then walk the rest of the way to the shore. The bird is seen by looking due east from that point. A scope is definitely needed. The bird is lighter in color than a Greater Black-backed Gull. It has a heavy yellow bill. The bird is smaller than the Herring Gulls that are swimming nearby.
