I just spoke with Jim Runkle, who was birding Spring Valley this morning.
He saw a Greater White-fronted Goose on the western side of the lake, in a
group of Canada geese. I don't know how long it will stick around, but
Spring Valley may be worth a visit today anyway. It is always interesting
this time of year.
