Thanks to Jen's post and excellent map we were able to relocate 15 Smith's
Longspurs in the corn field to the east of the south bend on Hill Rd. We
did have to walk way out into the cornfield. The birds were in the area
where there was grass between the stalks. I first heard their rattle and
then saw them in flight. We did see one female on the ground and in the
scope.
