Yesterday there seemed to kinglets everywhere on the Bass Islands. I found a
golden-crowned kinglet dead on roadside in the AM and a ruby-crowned kinglet
on the side of the road who was oblivious to me standing and watching on South
Bass. Susan Harrington found eight golden-crowned kinglets working the ground
near the post office before dark.

On Middle Bass, Gordon Barr sent a photo of a golden-crowned kinglet that
followed him on a long walk on the rocky beach, eating the midges kicked up as
he walked!

Also noticed a number of yellow-rumped warblers, one in particular in my yard
with alot of color!
