I went to Villa Angela/Wildwood State Parks in Cleveland today from 10:30 to 2:20pm.  I ran into Jeanne Hrenko in the parking lot after awhile and we walked the park.  There weren't as many migrants as was seen last weekend.  Near the end of our walk I wanted to walk into the Wildwood woods and down to Euclid Creek to look around.  As we were down there Jeanne looked back into the woods and started seeing multiple Black-crowned Night-Herons.  So we walked back in to Wildwood woods and counted at least 17 high up distributed around the woods in groups.    Surprisingly, they weren't disturbed by us. When I left the marina area in my car I noticed you could get a better count from the parking lot so I parked and walked up to the creek near the south end of the marina and counted 20 Night-Herons high up in the trees.  More than we usually ever see here.  Here is what else we saw which were small numbers:

Lesser Scaup 2
Bufflehead 1
Ruddy Ducks 9 (in front of Villa Angela)
Red-breasted Mergansers 150+
Common Loon 1
Pied-billed Grebe 1
Horned Grebe 5-6 (marina)
American Coot 2
Black-crowned Night-Herons 20 (mostly adults)
Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers 3
Eastern Phoebe 3
Brown Creepers 6-7
Winter Wrens 2
Golden-crowned Kinglets ~ 9
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Hermit Thrush 1
Brown Thrasher 2-3
Yellow-rumped Warbler 1-2
Eastern Towhee 2
Fox Sparrows 3
Dark-eyed Juncos 4
Song Sparrows - few
Brown-headed Cowbirds - more this weekend
Belted Kingfishers 2
