While cutting honeysuckle in preparation for our Earth Day project on Saturday, I saw a brilliantly colored blackburnian warbler male feeding in the trees along the banks of Alum Creek at the far north end of the bike path where it makes a jog west from the creek toward Nelson Road. The orange was neon and almost seemed to glow. Also present were a few yellow-rumped warblers.
