I followed up on a report today of distress with one of the common loons at the rec Center pond At 4:30 both birds were in fine form. Fishing and flapping wings All 4 wings in good shape on 2 loons. Plumage is getting more distinct  No grebes today. A sizable flock of Rough wing swallows patrols the water.
