I was driving by Glacier Ridge Honda Wetlands around 5.30 p.m. and saw a raptor flying 100-150 yards from me. It was gliding, then making several wing beats very slow and wide (vulture-like). Bird was dark and rusty in a middle, wings very wide, has white feathers at the base of tail (like N.Harrier). I was on a very busy road with no chance to stop, but I got a look at this bird for several seconds. It was not a Turkey Vulture, or a Broad-winged Hawk. Can it be a Golden Eagle?
