Hi all,
   I had the good fortune to re-find some of the Smith's Longspurs in the fields just northeast of Rockford Western Rd and Hill Rd in Mercer county today. At least 6 Smiths were present along with lots of Lapland Longspurs and other shortgrass species. Thanks very much to Jen Brumfield and Dave Slager for providing great info on these birds!
