Hey Ohio Birders! Save the Date!

 The Ohio Avian
Research & Conservation Conference

 October 19th,
2013

 Samson-Talbot Hall/Biology Dept.

Denison University

Granville, Ohio

This conference will highlight the work of Ohio
ornithologists conducting research within the state and beyond. There will be presentations, academic
posters, and break-out sessions.

Participants will learn first-hand about some of the exciting
bird research being conducted by the researchers themselves. You will also learn about tools and resources
that can assist you in your own citizen science or local conservation projects,
as well as about opportunities for you to participate in research and
conservation projects.

In addition to the conference itself there are some great
fall birding opportunities in one of the most scenic parts of Ohio during
autumn; including the Denison Bio-reserve, the Taft Reserve and Kraner Nature
Center, and the Dawes Arboretum.

So save the date and stay tuned for more updates and
information as they become available.
