Hi all,
Yesterday late afternoon (April 5), along with other friends, we took a walk
through one of our favorite areas of Forest Hill Park, in Cleveland Heights
and East Cleveland, looking for early migrants.
We had:
Red-tailed Hawk
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Northern Flicker
(both of those singing up a storm)
Pileated Woodpecker (also calling, drumming and moving around)
Downy Woodpecker
Song Sparrow (a small flock‹perhaps as many as a dozen)
Eastern Phoebe
American Robin
White-breasted Nuthatch
Eastern Bluebird (a group of about six)
Best wishes,
Steve
